Operating Principles for our Mastermind group
The purpose of a Mastermind group is to bring together likeminded people who are dedicated and motivated to making effective and lasting change in their lives, in the context of a collective group.
There is no selling of anything here. We are here to learn and grow together. While it’s possible that we may find business opportunities together, this is not the forum to explore that. Please respect this time and this place.
This mastermind group meets for four one hour sessions as we study the book “Everyone Communicates, Few Connect” by John C. Maxwell. We need you to participate in at least 3 of the 4 sessions.
The meetings are confidential and run professionally with a curriculum and we will have complete respect for each participant’s privacy as well as complete respect for each participant’s time.
There is a level of commitment on my part to deliver the best material to you in the allotted time with the utmost standards of professionalism, as well as a level of commitment on your part to come to each meeting on time, prepared (have read the material) and with a positive attitude.
We all need to be present – focused – it’s just 60 minutes. You can do it – no computers, no cell phones, no checking email.
As we move through each lesson as a group, we will bring together our ideas and opinions that will help shape and mold our understanding of the material in a way that is far superior to simply reading a book on your own. We will be combining all of our minds to become a master mind.
We need everyone’s contributions. Don’t be a wallflower, and don’t dominate the conversation. I’ll facilitate. Please give me some grace to nudge the group along if needed.
Let’s get started!
